This position is Full-Time and may require evening and weekend shifts.

Essential Functions:
Performs sterilization procedures following protocols set in accordance with established guidelines
Prepares dental equipment and instrumentation - tray set-ups for dental procedures
Obtains diagnostic records ordered by a dentist including X-Rays, intra-oral scans/photos, and alginate impressions
Provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of a dentist
Creates entries in patients' medical records as directed by the treating dentist
Provides patient education including care instructions
Performs basic lab duties including the fabrication of Essix retainers
Prepares and documents lab cases ensuring timely delivery
Diamond Braces has several Dental Assistant positions available. Please note that the pay scale is a board representation of our Dental Assistant positions. Offers are based on qualifications and experience.

Experience Required
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Continued compliance with continuing education requirements to maintain state license/certification
Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, techniques and procedures
High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses & Certifications Preferred
Radiography License
CPR Certificate
RDA License
