Oral Surgery assistant

We are seeking a full time experienced Oral Surgery assistant for our State-of-the-art oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Desert Ridge, AZ. Responsibilities include assisting the doctors during IV sedation and surgery, cleaning surgery room, sterilizing instruments, taking x-rays and CT scans.

Job Requirements:
- Must have oral and maxillofacial surgery dental assisting experience, x-ray, & CPR certifications are required and ACLS certification is a plus
- Experience with sedation as a surgical assistant for major surgeries
- Be a team player and have the abillity to multi-task in a fast paced environment

This is a full-time position (Monday- Friday 8:15 m.-4:30 p.m.) with Wednesday’s as an administrative.
Required education: High school or equivalent
Required experience: Oral Surgery Dental Assistant: 1 year
Required licenses or certifications: X-ray, IV, CPR.
DAANCE Certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $29.00 per hour

We provide gowns, KN95 masks to all employees, no more than 2 employees are allowed in each room, all employees must wear masks, patients are checked with daily temperature and questionnaires. No more than 2 patients are seen in the office at a time..
