About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Thomas R Quickstad, DDS, QUICK. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and education, performing dental cleanings, and assisting the dentist with procedures. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining our patients' oral health and overall well-being.
Minimum Qualifications:
Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Washington
Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
Experience with Dentrix software
Experience with digital x-rays
Experience with periodontal therapy
Experience with pediatric patients
Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings and oral cancer screenings
Take and develop dental x-rays
Assist the dentist with procedures such as fillings and extractions
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
Skills:
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will utilize your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and educate them on proper oral hygiene techniques. You will also use your technical skills to perform dental cleanings, take and develop x-rays, and assist the dentist with procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans will be critical to the success of our practice. Additionally, your experience with Dentrix software and digital x-rays, as well as your knowledge of periodontal therapy and pediatric patients, will be highly valued.
