OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a busy dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and practices, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that our patients have a comfortable and positive experience during their visits.
Duties- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics and other dental treatments.- Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.- Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.- Perform medical imaging tasks, including X-rays, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.- Sterilize instruments and manage inventory of dental supplies to ensure the clinic operates smoothly.- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Experience- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, with hands-on knowledge of dental assisting practices.- Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques is essential.- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
