Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team on weekends. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits.
Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as needed.
Assess patient oral health by examining gums, teeth, and other oral structures.
Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatment plans using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Assist in the management of the dental office, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Skills

Proficient in medical coding and understanding of dental terminology.
Experience with dental assisting and familiarity with general dentistry procedures.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Ability to effectively manage medical records within a dental clinic setting.
Familiarity with dental practice management software is preferred.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
