Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques.
Take X-rays as directed by the dentist and ensure proper handling of radiographic equipment.
Provide support in general dentistry procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures.
Maintain patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and assist with medical coding as needed.
Ensure that all dental supplies are stocked and organized for optimal workflow.

Skills

Proficiency in dental assisting practices, including X-Ray techniques and four-handed dentistry.
Strong understanding of aseptic technique to maintain a safe working environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
