We are immediately seeking an outstanding Registered Dental Assistant to join our fabulous team. Are you looking for a meaningful, positive, and long-term career opportunity? The candidate should be well-organized, able to anticipate and fully support our dentists chair-side with great attention to detail and follow-through, ie consistently completing patient notes for every patient. What we expect from you - we are looking for a reliable professional with excellent communication skills. A positive attitude is a must as you serve patients and your team with excellence. Experience with CEREC and Itero scanning is valuable and utilized daily in our office. Invisalign, and ZOOM! teeth whitening experience is a plus, and we expect our RDAs to be competent and efficient in taking a full set of x-rays [PAs and bitewings], impressions, and digital photography. We expect our RDAs to complete their responsibilities daily; finish the crown before the patient arrives, confirm lab cases have gone out, or returned prior to patient appointment, detailed and complete notes for each patient, etc. We are looking for someone who likes to work hard and get the job done and who finds satisfaction in a good day's work. Responsibilities:
Warmly welcome customers to our dental office
Escort patients to and from treatment, and offer office tours on occasion while always ensuring optimal patient comfort
Proactively select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed consistently to assist the doctor
Sterilize instruments according to regulations and provide primary support for all instrument sterilization daily in our office
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry on occasion
Input detailed and complete notes in Dentrix after each patient
Undertake lab tasks as instructed and manage patient cases as directed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions to patients occasionally
Keep the dental ops/rooms clean and well-stocked with supplies
Maintain accurate patient records/notes and assist with payment procedures as directed
Skills
Proven experience as a registered dental assistant preferred
Knowledge of dental instruments and best sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
CEREC, ZOOM!, and Itero experience preferred
Ability to complete full set of x-rays [PAs and bitewings] efficiently
Dentrix experience preferred and basic computer skills required
Excellent communication and interpersonal people skills
Attention to detail and ability to facilitate monthly production goals
Well-organized, dependable and reliable
Competent in taking digital x-rays, patient photos & intra-oral images
High school diploma; & graduation from dental assisting school preferred
Honest, professional and joyful attitude required
