Job Description

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced dental assistant who is looking for full time employment. Our office is a low-volume/high quality endodontic office that prides itself on quality in every aspect of patient care.
**Duties:**
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take dental x-rays
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on postoperative care
- Maintain accurate patient records
**Experience:**
- Experience with medical documentation and medical records
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry
- Familiarity with endodontics, four-handed dentistry, and medical imaging
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
**Requirements:**
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
- X-ray certification
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
