Job Description

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's calendar
Experience:- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not required- Familiarity with dental procedures, terminology, and equipment- Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and operating dental imaging software- Ability to perform basic medical tasks, such as taking vital signs- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is a plus- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties and medical coding is a plus
