Dental Assistant - Beverly Hills Braces - San Jose, CA

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic/Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires understanding of orthodontic terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
Duties

Assist orthodontist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take x-rays, pictures and i-Tero scans of patients ( We will train if needed)
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
Manage inventory of dental supplies, ordering as necessary to ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
Collaborate effectively with other team members to provide exceptional patient care in a pediatric or general dentistry setting.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
Proficiency in dental terminology.
Experience with dental software systems such as Open Dental is desirable.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred; experience in pediatrics is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion towards patients.
MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER!
Certification in CPR or BLS is preferred.
