Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation for patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Assist with general dentistry and prosthodontics procedures as required.
Utilize Eaglesoft for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.

Requirements

Knowledge of dental anatomy, systems, and procedures is essential.
Experience with X-ray technology is preferred.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Understanding of infection control standards in a dental setting.
Proficiency in medical documentation practices.
Previous experience Eaglesoft software is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
