Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment. This role requires expertise in various dental procedures, strong patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients of all ages.
Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Execute restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.
Conduct dental extractions and endodontic treatments as necessary.
Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics with precision.
Manage pediatric dentistry cases with a focus on creating a positive experience for young patients.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations using Eaglesoft software.
Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options to promote overall wellness.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in a four-handed dentistry approach to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Uphold strict infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and best practices.
Proficiency in patient care techniques and effective communication skills.
Experience or training in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is advantageous.
Ability to perform dental extractions and endodontic procedures competently.
Commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry advancements.
