Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist with various clinical procedures, manage patient records, and ensure a smooth workflow within the office.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Take and record vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation for patient records.
Utilize dental terminology and medical documentation skills to maintain comprehensive medical records.
Operate 3D scanners as needed for imaging and treatment planning.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow-up communications to ensure an organized office environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient experiences.

Skills

Proficient in medical terminology and dental terminology to facilitate effective communication within the practice.
Experience in medical documentation systems for accurate record keeping.
Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry practices.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for managing medical records.
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
