Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available and willing to learn IV sedation, oral surgery, implant placement, Itero scanning and digital scanning for same day crowns.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate dental documentation for patient records.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental software is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and ability to perform radiographic procedures.
Understanding of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
Strong grasp of dental terminology
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
