Job Summary
The Dental Health Programs prepare students as dental professionals who have the skills required to be competent members of the dental care team, deliver quality dental health care to the public, have the knowledge to pass national licensure and certification examinations and are committed to professional development through life-long learning. The Dental Health Department is looking for dynamic, skilled and motivated individuals to join our team. Dental Health adjunct faculty demonstrate competence in clinical skills, lecture and lab instruction and responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Dental Health Programs and the College. SUBJECTS:
Oral Radiology
Chairside Dental Assisting
Dental Materials
Oral Anatomy and Dental Sciences
Office Procedures
Duties and Responsibilities
Radiography, laboratory and didactic teaching, Dental Assisting
Chairside skills and Dental Materials, laboratory and didactic teaching, Dental Assisting Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues
Demonstrate commitment to providing academic support to students and provide remediation as needed
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of a bachelorââ¬â¢s degree in Education or related field
Minimum of 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
Current CDA certification, or eligibility before start date
Current certification in CPR at the Health care Provider level
Competencies
Previous teaching experience at a CODA accredited institution
