Job Description
Old Pueblo Dental is looking for a dental assistant. Our practice is based on our patient experience; therefore, our ideal candidate will have a primary emphasis on customer service. Key responsibilities include:
-Creating a welcoming environment for our patients
-Talking with patients while doctor is with others
-Prepare operatory
-Assist with dental procedures
-Take digital X-Rays
-Complete lab tasks such as sterilization and making night guards
-Coronal polishing
-Post procedure instructions for patient
Requirements:
-Full time availability 6:00am-4:00pm, open to part time (M-W, W-F 6:00-4:00)
-Experience in providing exceptional customer care
-Demonstrates a strong team focused mindset
-Chairside assisting experience in a dental setting
-Proficiency is dental assisting techniques, terminology, and anatomy
-Competency in note taking, documentation and managing records
-Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols, sterilize equipment and treatment room
-Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
-Detail-oriented, organized and ability to multi-task efficiently
-Certification in CPR
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
