Seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant with Radiology Certification with at least one year of experience. Applicant will get individualized training for the specifics of our procedures, protocols and philosophy. Summary
As an EFDA Dental Assistant, you will be integral to our dental practice, supporting the team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Skills required for the position:

Oregon EDFA Certification
Oregon Radiology Certification
CPR/BLS for Healthcare Provider
Prefer at least one year of dental assisting in general dentistry or any other dental specialty (we can train for general dentistry specific procedures
Ability to provide high quality digital radiographs
Knowledge of dental treatment planning & patient education about their treatment
Exhibit professional chart note writing skills & know dental terminology
Experience with dental software such as Dentrix, EagleSoft or Open Dental

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment.
Utilize dental terminology and knowledge of anatomy to educate patients on treatment options.
Operate and maintain dental equipment, including 3D scanners and X-ray machines.
Document patient information accurately in Dentrix, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Monitor patient vital signs and provide compassionate care throughout their visit.
Sterilization of dental instruments and maintenance of operatories.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.92 - $27.12 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
