We are looking for a FRIENDLY hygienist that is a Team Player.We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing preventive dental procedures, educating patients on oral health, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as needed.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient care accurately in Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols within the dental office.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures when required.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in patient care.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices is essential.
Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is beneficial for effective communication with patients and staff.
Experience with patient assessment and documentation review is an advantage.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is desirable but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
