Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures and provide quality care to our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and excellent patient care, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take and develop dental X-rays- Maintain accurate patient medical records- Provide chair-side assistance to dentists in various procedures- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Dental Assistant program- Experience working in a dental clinic, preferably with pediatric patients- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and maintaining X-ray equipment- Knowledge of Epic or similar electronic health record systems- Familiarity with endodontic procedures is a plus- Strong understanding of medical documentation and recordkeeping- Ability to assist with dental receptionist duties when needed- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
