Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a small private practice office located on the square in Osceola, IA. We pride ourselves on providing great dental care to our patients and being as gentle as possible. We have a family oriented approach to the office and treat each other and our patients that way. We will be remodeling soon so you can incorporate your ideas and preferences to make your work space the best for you. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during procedures. This role involves performing patient assessments, maintaining medical records, and assisting in various dental procedures while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Performing Scaling and root planing
Taking digital radiographs/cbct
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and prepared for use before each procedure.
Stay current with dental terminology and best practices to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in Iowa.
Proficiency in medical terminology, dental terminology, and systems related to patient care.
Experience with patient assessment techniques and vital sign monitoring is preferred.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour
