Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases through effective patient assessments and treatments.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Administer preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Assist with pediatric dentistry procedures when necessary, demonstrating a gentle approach with younger patients.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for patient management and record keeping.
Monitor vital signs as needed during patient visits.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care and support for all patients.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and disease prevention.
Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Previous experience using Eaglesoft or similar dental software is a plus.
