Job Description
Job Overview:
We seek an empathetic and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, friendly, and passionate about providing top-quality oral health care. You will play a crucial role in our patients' experiences, from routine cleanings to educating them on oral health best practices.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance.
Take and develop dental x-rays and intraoral images.
Provide a high level of concierge care with exceptional chairside manners.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
Identify signs of periodontal disease or potential oral cancers.
Thoroughly document and review detailed patient medical histories and chief complaints.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a comfortable, positive experience.
Apply dental sealants and provide in-office teeth whitening services.
Place Arestin in periodontal pockets.
Proficiently handle emergency measures in response to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment.
Qualifications:
Current Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey.
Current CPR (BLS) Certification.
Exceptional working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and meticulous documentation.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Reliable and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Passionate about educating patients on the importance of oral health.
Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is highly preferred
