Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety standards.
Record patient vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care.
Manage patient appointments and maintain an organized schedule using Eaglesoft software.
Assist with various dental specialties including prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
