Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to assist the dentist effectively during various treatments.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for patient procedures.
Take and record vital signs, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Manage medical records and documentation accurately, adhering to privacy regulations.
Utilize 3D scanning technology to assist in creating dental impressions and models.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the practice.
Skills
Proficiency in dental terminology and documentation related to dental practices.
Familiarity with dental terminology specific to procedures and treatments.
Experience with assisting in dental procedures, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques.
Ability to manage medical records systems efficiently.
Experience with 3D scanners is a plus, enhancing the quality of patient care.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
A proactive approach to learning new skills related to dental assisting.

Pay: $26.81 - $28.16 per hour
