Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Operate dental technology such as 3D scanners for imaging purposes.
Support pediatric dentistry by engaging with young patients in a friendly manner.
Perform administrative tasks as required, including managing patient flow and assisting at the front desk when necessary.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting or as a dental receptionist is preferred but not required. Willing to train the right person.
Familiarity with dental software Dentrix.
Knowledge of infection control procedures and HIPAA regulations is essential.
Proficiency in using dental equipment, including X-ray machines and 3D scanners.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 ââ¬â 45 per week
