Dental Assistant - Camber Aesthetics - New York, NY

We are looking for a lead dental assistant to help grow our new practice. Our philosophy is about more than just providing dental care. Instead, we want to build an experience that is personalized and memorable. As an essential part of each patient's visit, you will take the initiative to help deliver the best treatment to our patients and keep the office running smoothly. Whether it's knowing what an anxious patient needs to feel comfortable or making a perfect temporary crown, you will be an integral part of building lifelong patient relationships.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits and treatments.
Sterilize instruments and clean operatories according to infection control guidelines.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient charts using practice management software (Open Dental)
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when necessary, including patient check-in/out.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality results.
Help maintain a clean office space
Assist in ordering and organizing supplies and instruments

Experience

Registered Dental Assistant (Required)
Current BCLS/CPR certification
Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Experience with dental imaging techniques and software (Dexis)
