Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Recommended 1+ year of experience as a dental assistant. This position offers the opportunity to work in various areas of general dentistry such as operative, extractions, hygiene, prosthodontics, and pediatrics.
Duties
- Assist dentist during chairside dental procedures.
- Prepare set-ups and restock supplies.
- Sterilization of dental instruments.
- Provide patients with home care instructions post surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Take dental x-rays during examinations.
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
Experience Required Skills:
- Dental assisting experience
- Need dental assistant certification for the state Texas.
- Knowledge of eCW software and Dexis
- Familiarity with aseptic technique in a dental setting
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in oral surgery, pediatrics, general dentistry, and pediatric dentistry
- Bilingual, proficient in Spanish
