Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support our dental professionals in providing exceptional care to patients in a friendly and efficient manner. This role involves assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all patient records are accurately maintained.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
Manage patient flow by coordinating appointments and maintaining an organized schedule.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, providing compassionate care to younger patients.
Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging as needed.
Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary, ensuring their well-being during treatment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices as well as pediatric dentistry is preferred.
Proficiency in taking X-rays and managing medical records effectively.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of dental systems and software is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ââ¬â 40 per week
