Responsibilities
As a Licensed Dental Assistant, youââ¬â¢ll be at the heart of creating an exceptional patient experience. Your duties will include:
Greeting guests with a warm smile
Preparing and educating patients before the dentistââ¬â¢s exam and treatment and go over post operative instruction and answer any patient questions
Assisting dentists with various procedures
Sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment rooms and turning them around for the next patient.
Maintain a clean work environment and dental equipment to meet OSHA and Center for Disease Control sterilization and infection control regulatory standards
Stocking operatories, ordering supplies, ensuring equipment is working properly
Take high quality x-rays
Charting existing and recommended treatments and go over treatment plans when required
Supporting the team with various office duties to ensure smooth operations
Interact with patients in person or over the phone to resolve issues with empathy and caring demeanor
Assist front desk with scanning paperwork and insurance related matters

Qualifications:
We are looking for a hardworking, patient-focused team player who aligns with our core values of kindness, patience, and respect. The ideal candidate with have:
An active license with and be in good standing with the MN Board of Dentistry
Current CPR Certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as an LDA
A commitment to punctuality, teamwork, and cross-functional duties
Must possess strong communication skills, flexibility, dependability
Positive, caring, service-oriented attitude & be a great team player
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, lean, and bend for prolonged periods.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
