Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral health care to patients.
Duties- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain patient records and sterilize instruments- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Perform various office tasks as needed
Qualifications- Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control protocols- Experience in dental assisting, including four-handed dentistry techniques- Familiarity with Epic software is a plus- Understanding of HIPAA regulations- Ability to work with patients of all ages, including pediatrics- Knowledge of medical coding and endodontics is advantageous
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.53 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
