Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist with various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
Take X-rays and utilize 3D scanners as needed for patient diagnostics.
Maintain accurate patient records, including documentation and dental coding.
Provide support in all aspects of general dentistry procedures.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with dental receptionist duties as necessary.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice.
Proficiency in using Dentrix software for patient management.
Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is essential.
Familiarity with X-Ray technology, endodontics, temporary crowns and general dentistry practices is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Certification or training in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour
