Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This position requires proficiency in various dental assisting tasks, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Take and record vital signs of patients prior to treatment.
Manage medical records and documentation accurately.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Utilize medical imaging equipment, including 3D scanners, to capture accurate dental images.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring children feel comfortable during their visits.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as a dental receptionist.
Requirements
Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience in dental assisting is preferred.
Knowledge of medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical records management.
Experience with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
