Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Responsibilities

÷ As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the patient experience and providing quality patient care. We are looking for someone who will deliver a high level of service for our patients & parents. We are seeking someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, who will interact in a professional manner and appearance at all times.
Qualifications
÷ Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and equipment
÷ Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic dental radiography
÷ Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with pediatric & adolescent patients and their parents
÷ Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
÷ RDA License (Required)
Responsibilities
÷ As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist & orthodontist during procedures and providing quality patient care
÷ Your knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and patient care will contribute to the overall success of our dental practice
÷ Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup of instruments and equipment
÷ Assist the dentist & orthodontist during dental procedures
÷ Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
÷ Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models
÷ Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
÷ Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
÷ Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines
÷ Assist with managing patient flow

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
