Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be proficient in Open Dental software, experienced with digital scanners, and fluent in both English and Spanish. This role requires a professional with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and efficient workflow.
- Perform all standard dental assistant duties, including chair-side assistance and patient education.
- Operate and maintain digital scanners for advanced dental procedures.
- Maintain, clean, and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies to ensure the office is well-stocked.
- Utilize Open Dental software for scheduling, charting, and patient records management.
Qualifications:
- Previous dental assisting experience is required.
- Proficient in Open Dental software.
- Skilled in using digital scanners.
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Reliable, professional, and a team player.
