JOB The Coffee Wellness Clinic is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the full-time, salaried position of Dental Hygienist based in Douglas, GA. As a Dental hygienist with the Coffee Wellness Clinic, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.It is our mission at the Southeast Health District, to promote and protect the health of people in Southeast Georgia, wherever they live, work and play, uniting with individuals, families, and communities to improve and enhance their quality of life. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Under direct supervision, the dental hygienist is responsible for performing a variety of duties to support oral health care. Key responsibilities include cleaning teeth, examining the head, neck, and oral areas for signs of disease, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. The role may also involve taking and developing X-rays, applying fluoride treatments, and sealing teeth to help prevent cavities. This position requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to promoting oral health.
