Gallery Park Dental is looking for a driven, and caring individual to join our growing team as Patient Care Coordinator. Responsibilities:
Will perform as a liaison between clinical and administrative departments to fully support as necessary (cover staff absence when needed)
Support strategic scheduling approach and patient flow for positive outcomes
Utilize patient communication platforms
Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
Dismiss patients, proper payment allocation and explain out of pocket costs when needed
Assist Insurance Coordinator with insurance policy verifications, comprehension of insurance policies and benefits is required
Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Coordinate internal referrals and referrals to specialists
Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, inquiries and financial discussions
Completion of assigned standard work procedures and following administrative protocols
Experience:
Dental industry experience and knowledge is necessary to succeed in this position
Proficiency in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and fax machines
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Scheduled working hours, note initial training hours may differ:
Mon 9:30 - 7:00 (close)
Tues 8:30 - 5:30
Weds 9:30 - 7:00 (close)
Thurs 8:30 - 5:00
Fri 8:00 - 2:00

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 ââ¬â 40 per week
