Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice located in Chesterfield, MI. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Manage patient appointments and follow-up visits efficiently.
Support all aspects of Dental procedures as needed.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of dental experience
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant role is required.
Knowledge of dental instruments and dental procedures is required.
Familiarity with dental terminology related to dentistry.
Ability to maintain accurate dental records with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
Certification in dental assisting is a plus, willingness to learn is essential.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Work Hours:

Monday: 9AM - 6:00PM
Tuesday: 8AM - 5:00PM
Wednesday: 9AM - 6:00PM
Thursday: 8AM - 5:00PM

And/ OR

Alternating Fridays: 9AM- 3PM OR
Alternating Saturdays: 9AM - 2:0 PM
