OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Perform infection control procedures in accordance with established protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols.
Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Manage dental office systems, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling medical documentation.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment options.
Assist with prosthodontics and endodontics procedures as needed, ensuring that all materials are prepared correctly.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Skills

Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental setting.
Familiarity with prosthodontics and endodontics procedures is a plus.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
Experience with medical documentation processes and medical coding is beneficial.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
