Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both general and pediatric dentistry, with a focus on patient care and education. You will work closely with dentists to deliver exceptional oral health services while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
We are located In Thompson CT, 25 miles from Worcester, Massachuetts.
We will pay from travel and mileage if needed.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
Conduct patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize medical coding systems for documentation and billing processes.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient assessment, and dental hygiene systems.
Experience or familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Understanding of medical coding practices is a plus.
