Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to join our team in a dynamic dental clinic environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical scheduling software. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as effective communication is essential in ensuring a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
Schedule appointments using computerized systems, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage insurance information, including coding and billing processes.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
Assist with the management of patient flow within the clinic to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth communication regarding patient care and scheduling needs.
Maintain a high productive schedule, proper follow up and treatment plan presentation.

Skills

Previous experience in a dental clinic is required.
Proficiency in medical scheduling software such as Open Dental is a plus.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and coding practices.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records.
Bilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse patient populations.
Strong interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with patients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
