Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time, experienced Dental Patient Coordinator to assist with our front-office operations and ensure a seamless patient scheduling and treatment experience. This role is integral in optimizing our doctors' schedules by managing patient appointments, coordinating treatment plans, and maintaining clear communication with patients and staff. The ideal candidate will be a polished professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values building relationships, and has a genuine interest in delivering exceptional service.
Office Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm
Friday 8am-2pm
1st and 3rd Saturday of each month 8am-2pm
Responsibilities include:
Delivering an outstanding customer experience
Optimizing the Doctorsââ¬â¢ schedules
Managing our technology-driven patient recall system (e.g., automated pre-recorded calling systems, automated e-mail, and text messaging systems)
Answering phones in a friendly manner
Scheduling appointments
Ensuring new patients are given priority on the schedule and appropriately noted on the schedule
Making sure emergency patients are offered immediate attention
Maintaining a short notice ââ¬Åcall listââ¬Â to use in case of cancellations
Keep patients accurately informed and comforted about the expected wait time (e.g., focus your attention on putting them at ease and feeling welcomed)
Check and return all voice messages on the same day

Requirements:
At least one year of experience in the dental field is required
Able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
A personable and professional demeanor is a MUST
Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $19-$21 per hour
