We are seeking an experienced front desk person to join our growing team! Must have at least 4 years of dental front office experience, and experience with Dentrix Ascend is a plus! Must be knowledgeable in dental terminology, treatment procedures, insurance verification and treatment planning, and be able to multitask in a high volume setting. Our team consists of 3 doctors and 2 hygienists.
Responsibilities:
Aid in providing superior care to patients aligning with Dr. Patterson's core values of honesty, integrity, and kindness.

Welcome patients, check them in and verify demographics
Scheduling, confirmations, and re-appointment
Maximize production by ensuring scheduling efficiency by following templates
Check messages on voicemail and online, and return calls
Create and maintain electronic health records
Insurance verification, knowledge of primary and secondary COB
Ability to factor patient co-pays for the day based on insurance benefits available
Accurate treatment planning and presentation skills
Coordinate treatment among other specialists and send correspondence
Track referrals, send letters to referring doctors
Check out patients, ensuring procedures and co-pays are collected and posted correctly
Answer patient questions regarding treatment or finances
Maintain waiting area and front office
Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
