Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Perform medical imaging procedures as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures as required, ensuring a comfortable experience for patients.
Implement infection control measures in accordance with established protocols to ensure patient safety.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with knowledge of general dentistry practices.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and familiarity with Dentrix or similar software systems.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and patient care standards.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Pay: $53.10 - $57.00 per hour
