We are a vibrant and patient-centered dental practice located in beautiful Encinitas, California. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Ideal Candidate:

*Trained on the use of Guided Biofilm Therapy: Recommended but not required. Additional on the job training will be provided PRN.

*Passionate about patient care: You possess a genuine desire to help patients achieve optimal oral health.

* Clinical Excellence: You are a skilled and proficient Registered Dental Hygienist with strong clinical skills, including:
    * Comprehensive periodontal assessments and therapies
    * Scaling and root planing 
    * Fluoride treatments
    * Oral hygiene instruction
* Excellent Communication Skills: You are an excellent communicator, able to effectively explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and build rapport.
* Team Player: You are a team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
* Organized and Detail-Oriented: You are highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage your time effectively.

Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients, including:
    * Periodontal assessments and therapies
    * Scaling and root planing
    * Fluoride treatments
    * Oral hygiene instruction
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and chart notes.
* Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
* Participate in team meetings and continuing education.
