Job Description

Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Assist the dentist during procedures- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:- Proficient in medical documentation systems- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy- Experience working with pediatric patients- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately- Familiarity with dental software such as Dentrix- Knowledge of aseptic technique for infection control- Ability to maintain and organize medical records
