Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with dentists and other staff members.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the diagnosis of oral diseases by conducting screenings and taking dental radiographs.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software, such as Softdent.
Collaborate with the dentist in developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry as needed, adapting care techniques for younger patients.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of dental assisting, medical terminology, and anatomy.
Familiarity with medical coding practices is preferred.
Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques is highly desirable.
Previous experience working in a dental office setting is advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
