Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic Perio team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in the prevention of oral diseases and the promotion of overall dental health.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper medical coding for treatments provided.
Provide exceptional patient care, including thorough Periodontal cleanings and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
Work with patients to ensure a positive dental experience and promote lifelong dental health habits.
Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, charting, and managing patient information effectively.
Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the team to develop treatment plans that meet the needs of each patient.

ExperienceCandidates should possess relevant experience in dentistry, with a focus on patient care and infection control practices. Familiarity with Periodontal practices preferred but not required. Proficiency in using dental software: Dentrix will be considered an asset. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential to stay current with best practices in dental hygiene.
