Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Perform patient assessments to identify oral health issues and develop appropriate care plans.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols within the dental clinic.
Assist with various dental procedures as needed, supporting the dentist and other team members.
Ensure that all equipment is properly sterilized and maintained.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a dental office setting, preferably as a Dental Hygienist
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
A valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist is required.
