Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and patient assessment techniques. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other staff members in a collaborative environment to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments using aseptic techniques.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and documenting findings accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations within the dental clinic.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, including medical coding when necessary.
Stay updated on the latest dental technologies and advancements in hygiene practices.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills:
Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control measures.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with dental terminology and medical coding is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability in assisting during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Strong skills in patient assessment and documentation review are essential for success in this role.
