Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. You will play a vital role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues.
Review medical records and document patient treatment plans accurately.
Assist in medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, to support diagnosis.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive care.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for documentation and patient management.
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and practices.
Strong knowledge of infection control standards in a clinical setting.
Experience with medical coding for accurate billing and insurance purposes is a plus.
Ability to conduct detailed documentation reviews for patient records.
Familiarity with medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnostics.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of patient care.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
